The I Heart Momma trail race will be 3.1 mother lovin’ miles through the trails of Bemis Woods (click here for exact location). Celebrate the woman who gave you life by getting active and hitting the trails! The race will be followed by food, fun, and festivities that will celebrate the most beloved woman in your life.

We are so excited to be partnering with the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (USA) to donate all proceeds to the PWS Association, which is working towards researching a cure for PWS. Donations during registration as well as on race day will be welcomed. Click here to learn more about PWS.

The 5k course will take you from the beautiful Bemis Woods South, over downed trees, through beautiful natural obstacles, through the woods, and back to the festival area. The course will be a unique, scenic loop design.

There will be water, pretzels, bananas, soft drinks, one free beer for each runner of legal age, and a hot dog bar (Chicago style, of course...leave your ketchup at home) following the race, all included in the registration price.

To celebrate the finest ladies in our lives, we will have roses, a free beer, and special shirts for all mothers who register for the race. Also, mothers will receive a discounted rate because, let’s be honest, mothers are the most amazing people ever!

Mothers will receive a special “I Am Loved” race-day shirt. All other runners who love their Momma will receive an “I Heart My Momma” race-day shirt.

All registered runners will also receive a finisher’s award, a race bib, one free beer for runner's of legal age and an awesome day on the trail!

The race will begin at 10am on Saturday, May 11, 2013.

Price schedule is as follows:

$20 moms/$30 others until April 1.

$25 moms/$35 others until April 30.

$28 moms/$38 others until race day.

All finishers will have this race counted towards both the Fratrum Minorum and Plenary Indulgence challenges. NOTE: Only FINISHES will count towards these challenges. DNSes and DNFs will not be counted.

We will have live results on our big screen on race day and live results immediately following the race online. Top three males and top three females will receive awards.
