12/07/13 CHILLER 5k & 10k

Outrun the Cold.

The Chiller is a 5k & 10k Trail Race that will be followed by music, beer, and various hot “adult” beverages to warm your body and your soul.

The course will take you through the cold woods, onto the Des Plaines River Trail, over roots, trees, and rocks, and back to our festival area. Both the 5k and 10k courses are a unique design from the 2012 Chiller and will be more accurately measured! The courses are great for those new to trail running and challenging enough for even the most seasoned trail runner.

The course maps and waivers will be posted here at least one month before the race!

All participants will receive a Chiller quarter zip fleece, a Chiller bib, one free beer or other alcoholic drink, a finisher’s award, free chili, soft drinks, & snacks.

After the race you can revive yourself with free coffee, hot chocolate, “adult” hot chocolate, Irish Coffee, Hot Toddy, or grab a locally crafted beer. Post-race snacks will be provided and there will also be food available for purchase. Results will be available on site on our big screen and will be available live online immediately following the race.
